joe.

just around the corner from home, it's good for lattes and sunday times reading, trading stories and people-watching. it's where days begin and sometimes end, where books are read and letters written, where the night before's date is inevitably discussed, where i am reminded to ditch the to-go cup in favor of slowing down and staying a while.

  1. It *is* so nice to have a regular place to spend time where you don't have to think about time, and to "practice" rituals that involve socializing with friends.

Thanks for this post, and have a great weekend.

  3. There is nothing quite like a cozy neighborhood coffee shop. One of my favorite places to spend my time for sure. Just stumbled upon your blog and I'm now your newest follower! xo

  4. Love this. I spend a great deal of time in coffee shops too, working, catching up with friends, or reading. It's become a sacred space for me.

I also just stumbled across your blog. Greetings. :)
